CDS PIKO is the smallest module from the range of independent universal control systems and distributed peripherals of ČMŽO-elektronika s.r.o. The module is designed to cover a wide range of simpler applications. These include, for example, checking the tightening of manual and direct pneumatic brakes, wiper control, multi-level pressure, voltage or current switches, control of the vehicle's external lighting according to the "D1" sign regulation, lubrication of roundabouts, speed switches, etc.
The mentioned applications can be implemented separately in the CDS piko module, or they can be combined according to the requirement, taking into account the number of input signal terminals and switches. In addition to digital inputs and switches, counter inputs and analog inputs, the CDS piko module also has its own real-time clock and internal recording memory. This makes it possible to implement such applications as, for example, counters of operating hours or monitoring and recording of fault conditions. The CDS piko modules can be connected to each other or to the higher-level control system via a CAN line. Additional peripherals can be connected via the RS485/422 interface.
Each module is equipped with a USB interface for changing settings and reading application operating records. It is possible to connect a laptop computer equipped with the relevant operating software of the given application to it with a standard USB cable.
